Course Aims

Formally OHS Consultation training, the HSR course will provide elected HSR members with information and skills under the new Work Health & Safety Act 2011 and provide representatives with an understanding of the requirements and how it applies to them and their workplace. This course covers; Work Health and Safety Framework, Consultation, Representation and Participation, the Role of HSR in issue resolution and minimising risk, Inspections, Incident notification and investigation and Provisional Improvement Notices (PIN’s) and ceasing unsafe work.
