Who should attend

Staff at all levels (Management, Supervisory & Operational) who are involved in the sale, service or supply of alcohol to members & their guests. Certificate/card expires after 5 years. The NSW liquor laws mandate responsible service of alcohol training for the liquor industry.

To qualify participants in line with legislation relating to the Responsible Service of Alcohol.

  • The benefits of responsible service of alcohol reforms
  • The benefits of profitability of food & soft drink service
  • Factors which effect individual responses to alcohol
  • The identification of customers to whom service may be refused
  • Assisting customers to drink within appropriate limits
  • Assisting alcohol effected customers
  • Methods used to assess the intoxication levels of customers
  • Polite methods used to offer assistance to intoxicated customers
  • How to deal with difficult situations
